Droga na Ostrołękę
Poland's most decorated country band — 16 Dyliżans Awards, six Band of the Year titles, and a 15-year road that now leads to Lower Broadway.
About the Band
Founded in 2009 by songwriter and educator Wojciech Dudkowski, Droga na Ostrołękę (literally "The Road to Ostrołęka") has become the backbone of the Polish country scene. The five-piece lineup — Dudkowski, Rudzinski, Lewandowski, Richter, Drezek — has spent over fifteen years writing, recording, and touring with the kind of restless dedication that built American country music in the first place.
Their cabinet holds 16 Dyliżans Awards (Poland's equivalent of the CMAs) and six Band of the Year titles (2011, 2013, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2022). Four studio albums in — with a fifth, "15 LAT" ("15 Years"), in production — they've proven country music has roots far from Nashville.
In 2018 the band made their first trip to Tennessee, playing Lower Broadway honky-tonks and the US Ambassador's residence. That visit sparked a long-running collaboration with Nashville-based country artist Tom Blizzard, who joins the band on the Mockingbird Theater stage in Franklin during the 2026 USA tour.
