About Maja

Maja Bogucka — performing as "M jak Muzyka" ("M for Music") — is a young vocalist and songwriter from Jelenia Góra, in southwestern Poland near the Czech border. From the first note, she creates the kind of close, honest atmosphere that's the foundation of country music. Her voice carries the tradition of Polish musical sensitivity blended with the authentic sound of American country.

She's a recurring performer at Poland's biggest country festivals — Country pod Śnieżką, Piknik Mrągowo, and Czyste Country Wolsztyn. Her 2024 charity album "M dla Przylądka" ("M for Cape") raised funds for the pediatric oncology clinic at Przylądek Hospital in Wrocław. Her music videos — "Tyle razy" ("So Many Times"), filmed in London, and "Barman" with Droga na Ostrołękę — have built a loyal following at home.

Maja writes alongside Wojciech Dudkowski, one of the most experienced country songwriters in Poland and the leader of Droga na Ostrołękę. In 2026 she crosses the Atlantic to perform in Franklin and Nashville with the Country Music Roads Foundation tour — a historic moment for Polish country music.
