From Poland to Nashville
How a small foundation from central Poland set out to bring authentic country music across the Atlantic — and why it matters.
Country music in Poland might sound unlikely — but it's been alive for decades. Long before streaming algorithms made every genre accessible, a community of musicians and fans in Poland fell in love with the sound of Nashville. Not the pop-country of today's charts, but the real thing: storytelling, steel guitars, and songs that hit you in the chest.
Country Music Roads Foundation was born from that community. We're a registered non-profit (KRS 0001137024) founded with one mission: to build a bridge between the Polish country scene and the heartland of American music. We organize concerts, fund artist development, and create opportunities for cross-cultural collaboration that would never happen on their own.
Our artists aren't newcomers. Droga na Ostrołękę has been performing for over 15 years, winning 16 Dyliżans Awards — Poland's equivalent of the CMAs. Maja Bogucka, known as "M jak Muzyka," has played the biggest country festivals in Poland and brings a vocal power that stops rooms cold. Together, they represent the best of what Polish country has to offer.
In 2018, members of the band made their first trip to Nashville, playing shows and making connections that would shape the foundation's direction. It was during that visit that the collaboration with American country artist Tom Blizzard began — a partnership that proved country music really does connect people across continents.
Ilona Bogucka
Mother of country vocalist Maja Bogucka, Ilona spent years watching country music bring people together across generations and borders. In 2024 she gathered a small circle of friends and turned that conviction into Country Music Roads Foundation.
"We're not chasing trends — we're building a road, one show at a time, between Polish songwriters and the American audiences who'll recognize their stories."

Country Music Roads Foundation is officially registered in Poland (KRS 0001137024) to formalize the mission and organize the first multi-venue US tour.
USA Tour — Franklin & Nashville
Four confirmed shows across Tennessee. Intimate listening rooms, a full-band concert with Tom Blizzard, and the legendary honky-tonks of Lower Broadway.
The People Behind the Music
We're a small team with a big dream. The foundation is run by people who've spent years in the Polish country music scene — as musicians, organizers, and fans. We're not a corporation or an agency. We're a group of people who believe that great music deserves a bigger stage.
Our board includes working musicians and industry veterans who volunteer their time because they believe in the mission. Every dollar raised goes directly toward making the 2026 USA tour a reality: flights, venues, gear, and the work of putting Polish country on the American map.
